Les divulgations, dans une langue réellement lisible.
Six documents. Écrits pour être compris plutôt que subis, parce qu’une divulgation que personne ne lit ne protège personne.
AI assistance disclosure
Our intake assistant and background agents use artificial intelligence to prepare information, read documents, compare quotes and draft paperwork. Where you are interacting with AI rather than a person, we say so on the surface itself, not only here.
AI does not make coverage, pricing, eligibility or binding decisions. A licensed producer reviews every quote before it is finalised, signs every policy that goes in force, and answers every coverage question. Nine actions are structurally outside what our agents can do: binding or issuing a policy, taking payment, making a final coverage recommendation, giving a coverage opinion or eligibility determination, interpreting coverage for a claim, contacting a person with an open claim, cancelling a policy, non-renewing a policy, and making a material endorsement.
Your conversation is stored on our own infrastructure so a producer can pick it up. It is not used to train a model.
Compensation disclosure
We are compensated by insurance carriers, normally as a percentage of the premium you pay. The rate varies by carrier and by line of business, which means we can be paid more for placing you with one carrier than another.
Because that is a real conflict, every proposal we send states what each option pays us alongside its premium. Our recommendation is made on fit and is stated in writing even when it is not the option that pays us most. If you would like the exact commission schedule for a placement, ask and we will send it.
Licensing
Affordable Insurance Center does not currently hold recorded insurance producer licences, and this page will not claim otherwise. Until licences are issued and recorded, we cannot place coverage, and any conversation here is preparation a licensed producer completes.
When licences are recorded they are listed here by state, with the licence number, straight from our licence register — never typed into a page. California requires a licence number on all email correspondence and we include it; a national producer number is not a substitute.
Privacy
We collect what a quote requires and nothing we do not use: business details, payroll or receipts, prior insurance and claims history, and one way to contact you. Notice at collection is served on the form or in the chat before you give us contact details, and consent to be contacted is asked for separately — it is never a condition of getting a price.
We do not sell or share your personal information. We do pass what a submission requires to the carriers you ask us to approach, and every vendor that touches your data operates under a processor contract. You can ask us what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it, in any state — not only the ones where a statute requires us to offer that.
Terms of service
Nothing on this site is a quote, a binder, or a promise of coverage. Where we show a cost figure it is indicative, it names the source it came from, and it is never a price we are offering you — your price depends on your class code, payroll, state, limits and history.
Coverage exists only when a licensed producer binds it and you have paid the premium. Where a policy and anything we have written disagree, the policy governs. We describe what forms typically cover; we do not adjudicate claims and we are not the insurer.
Accessibility
We build to WCAG 2.1 AA: keyboard operable throughout, visible focus on every control, contrast checked against the palette rather than assumed, and motion suppressed for anyone who has asked their system for reduced motion.
If something here is not usable for you, tell us through the contact page and we will fix it. A licensed producer can complete anything this site can do, so nothing here is available only to people who can use the interface.
