What the regulator says
Each answer below is what a named authority publishes, quoted so you can check it, with the date we last confirmed it against their page.
Which Utah employers must provide workers’ compensation coverage?
The Utah Labor Commission states that with few exceptions, all employers must provide workers’ compensation coverage for their employees. The Commission’s Industrial Accidents Division publishes the exceptions rather than setting an employee-count threshold.
“With few exceptions, all employers must provide workers’ compensation coverage for their employees.”
What auto coverage must a Utah vehicle carry?
The Utah Insurance Department states that all automobiles in Utah are required to be covered by at least bodily injury and property damage liability insurance coverage, and lists comprehensive, personal injury and uninsured driver cover among the options beyond it. The Department states the requirement on that page without publishing the dollar limits, so the figures are not reproduced here.
“All automobiles in Utah are required to be covered by at least bodily injury and property damage liability insurance coverage.”
This is reporting, not advice. Rules change, and the authority above is the one that changes them — confirm your situation there or with a licensed producer before you act on it.
