What does Oklahoma require an employer to do about workers’ compensation?
The Administrative Workers’ Compensation Act states that an employer shall secure compensation to employees in one of the ways the section lists — insuring with a concern authorised to transact workers’ compensation insurance in the state, satisfying the Commission of its financial ability to pay directly, joining an approved group self-insurance association, or another security the Commission and the Insurance Department approve.
