Which New York employers must carry workers’ compensation coverage?
The New York State Workers’ Compensation Board states that virtually all employers in New York State must provide workers’ compensation coverage for their employees, citing Workers’ Compensation Law sections 2 and 3. The Board publishes the exemptions alongside it.

What are the minimum auto liability limits in New York?
The New York DMV states that the minimum amount of liability coverage for most vehicles is $10,000 for property damage for a single crash, $25,000 for bodily injury and $50,000 for death for a person involved in a crash, and $50,000 for bodily injury and $100,000 for death for two or more people in a crash. New York splits its floor by injury and by death, which is why a single pair of numbers never describes it.
