The Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet states that employers with one or more employees are required to obtain and maintain a policy of workers’ compensation insurance unless they have been authorized by the Commissioner to directly pay compensation to injured employees. The Cabinet publishes that family members, temporary workers and part-time workers all count as employees.

What auto liability coverage must a Kentucky vehicle owner carry?
Kentucky DRIVE states that all motor vehicle owners in Kentucky must carry liability coverage of $25,000.00 for all claims for bodily injury damages sustained by any one person, not less than $50,000.00 for all bodily injury damages sustained by all persons as a result of an accident, and $25,000.00 for all property damage.
