Which Delaware employers must carry workers’ compensation insurance?
The Delaware Office of Workers’ Compensation states that in Delaware, almost every employer with one or more employees is required to carry workers’ compensation insurance, with only limited exceptions in state law. The Office publishes that coverage generally has to be in place before an employee starts work, and that full-time, part-time, seasonal and temporary staff all count.
