What does Arizona require an employer to do about workers’ compensation?
The Arizona Revised Statutes provide that employers shall secure workers’ compensation to their employees in one of the ways the section lists — insuring with a carrier authorised by the director of the Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions, or satisfying the state that they can carry the risk themselves. The section states the duty of employers generally, without setting an employee count.
